Individual goals page, investment account filtering, document extractor improvements

Taylor avatar
Shared by Taylor • January 28, 2026

We've made some improvements to the platform.

Individual goals page

Each goal now has full dedicated page. You can:

  1. View and change accounts assigned and calculator inputs
  2. View the investment allocation, dividend yield, and expense ratio of accounts assigned*
  3. Add a brief description of the goal that will appear on the overview page.

*For accounts that are split between goals, investment allocation is pro-rated.

Document extractor instructions

We've added the ability to give the document extractor additional instructions. You can do this:

  1. When first extracting information
  2. After an initial extraction. If something is missing or incorrect, click the "Give further instructions" button to provide additional instruction and re-extract.

Adding context will drastically improve the extractors accuracy. If uploading multiple documents or a document that is slightly ambiguous, give instructions like you would to an intern.

Goal description appears on Overview page

Goal descriptions now appear on the overview page making the summary view more clear and valuable to your clients.

Filter investments by goal on investments page

You can filter investment accounts by goal. This will change accounts and charts shown in the Investments tab to reflect accounts assigned to each individual goal.

For accounts that are split between goals, investment allocation is pro-rated.

Document type editable in vault

Investment account filters display on overview

If you change the accounts selected on the Investments tab, the asset class card on the Overview page will match your account selection. Note this is only for accounts and not filtering by goals.

Improved Document Extraction

Taylor avatar
Shared by Taylor • January 19, 2026

We've made a number of improvements to our document extractor:

  1. Reliably handles multiple documents (up to ~15 documents)*
  2. Choose whether to extract now or later.
  3. Choose whether to include the document extractor in the client onboarding form.

*Exact number of documents will depend on the length and complexity of the documents. Standard documents like investment statements and bank accounts should be handled fine. Longer or less clear documents like estate plans, chat transcripts, certain policy documents, etc. may require you to extract in smaller batches.
